Still craving, but maybe not as bad. I keep telling myself that this is not forever - it will go away Eventually. Damn. Soon, I hope...
I do know one thing - I'm never going to smoke again, because I never want to go through this again.
Think happy thoughts for me, eh?
And the good news is, I finished the Snowflake hat! Ends woven, and all. So now I can cast on something new!! I've started winding (by hand) the laceweight for Maplewing. Or maybe Aeolian. I'm still dithering.
Hey, with all the money we're saving on cigarettes, I can afford another skein of laceweight! Woohoo!! Aeolian AND Maplewing!
And maybe another Swallowtail.
I've got these twitchy fingers - fiddley lace-knitting sounds just right!

I hand wound 500 yards of silk boucle last night. Took me two episodes of CSI NY, LOL. Worth it though, it's a lovely glacier blue and will be another shawlette for me. I do love my garter stitch mindless knitting. I really need to figure out a way to store my shawls instead of just shoved in a box. Maybe a clear shoe over the door thingie that I can hang on the wall? Whatcha think?
Woo woo! Getting there.
My wish for you is that each day will be easier and eventually the thought of a cigarette will be repulsive. Hold knitting needles in your hands instead of a cigarette and chew gum...lots of gum!
Go Gayle! Woo hoo! Way to keep up the fight! It should get easier - and then you'll have this fantastic yarn budget emerge from the cigarrette budget, like magic.
I'm plugging for you. Repurposed money sounds good...especially with something that will keep your hands busy. And your brain happy.
