I finished up August orange with a Centennial star to add to my collection.
Then I got curious and counted up what I've got so far. These were a carryover from last year's RSC, but I haven't always been as diligent as I could be with them.
Only one purple? It's even worse than I thought. We've made two passes at purple and I only ended up with one block - clearly I need to backtrack and fix that oversight! Red and green could use some love, too.
Unless I've misplaced some blocks instead of putting them in their bin... I do have a history of that... hmmm...

Those Centennial stars are neat blocks! I love the center fabric in your orange block. Maybe you'll be making purple ones this month instead of blue? :)
Oh! This is my favorite Centennial block! Not only because it is orange but the fabrics are so neat together. Awesome job on this one, Gayle. Enjoy the catching up with these blocks. ;^)

Love those stars. How many is enough? And do you always have to have the same number of every color? One out of 28 isn't bad if you don't have much purple.

You should definitely make more stars. That's such a fun block to use for RSC.
You can always say that a single purple block is a design feature. "See? It's a Pop of Purple!" That's a fabulous star block, and will work in any color combo you happen to find hiding in your studio :)
There is always November and December to make purple blocks. Unless you have a finish planned :)
Super star, I don't think I've heard of this one before but fantastic with the pink and orange.
There is always time to catch up at the end of the year. Hopefully winter will bring some slow sewing days.
