Builders gotta build

In the four weeks I was gone, my dad did this:

Yep, new barn.  It's even bigger than the one he built last year, which you can see on the left.  (He sometimes claims that 'this' will be the year he doesn't build a barn.  We just all nod and say "Sure, Dad.  Yep.")

But then, (woohoo!) I won this book, which I'd been coveting ever since Julie started talking about it.

Looks like I'd better get cracking.  Dad's got such a head start on me...

Welcome home! So, are you going to build one of your Dad's barns in fabric? What does he store in his barns? Pigs? Monkeys? Is *that* why he's building a new barn - for you and your critters? ;- )

That looks about just the right size for a sewing room. How nice of your dad to build that for you. Now you can build him a barn :)

That's some barn! Cynthia's right -- perfect size for a studio. Lucky you! Been trying to win that book for weeks. Guess I'll have to break down and buy one.

I love barns - this is certainly motivation with new book in hand to start building your own.

Congrats on the winning! So this new barn will take care of the pigs but what about the monkeys? Will your Dad let them swing from the beams? (You know we can go on and on with this subject!) Enjoy the new book ... and your stash! ;^)
