Paltry rainbow bits

I didn't get much chance to sew this week, and no time at all for RSC's February color, even though purple (purple!) is one of my favorite colors.  (Yes, you caught me.  I have a lot of favorite colors.  (Orange!)  But isn't life just nicer when you have a lot of favorites?)

I did manage to get one block more done for January, though,

before I started folding light blues and putting them away.  (No really.  Imagine me folding and putting away.  I know, right?)

See?  Folding and stacking as I finish with each one.

Mostly because my fabric shelves are looking like this and I was starting to worry about being injured in an avalanche...

Linking with So Scrappy for ScrapHappy Saturday.  Come see all the rainbow fun!

At least, now I know for sure you won't run out of fabric before the big freeze is over, lol. ;^)

Hurray for purple! One of my favorite colors too. Hope you get a chance next week to sew more blocks.

My fabric looked like your stash. Now that it is all cleaned up, I don’t want to use it!

I have piles, too - it would be a good idea to get them sorted and organized, wouldn't it?! Your blue pinwheel is fun!

It's so hard to keep the stacks neat. Inevitably I will see something on the bottom of the heap and no matter what technique I use, the rest of the pile comes down with it. Then I just end up throwing the unused fabric back on the stack.

If it does all fall down, it will be a happy avalanche indeed. Looking forward to purple too.

Umm... Gayle, that neatly folded stack is NOT blue!! Have fun with PURPLE. Even though we both know that your very favorite color is orange!! LOL

Is that a big giant piece of bacon fabric? I used to have a big giant piece of bacon fabric and made pillowcases out of it for some bacon lovers.

Are we supposed to have neat stacks? My little 1/4 yd and 1/2 yd pieces and remnants don't stack very well but when they do all fall or mix together I discover new and amazing color combos I never even thought of!

Yup, I'm not allowed to have stacks like that unless they are on the floor. Or else that is where they would land given Molly likes to scale fabric piles like a mountain climber.

I did some cleaning this week too. Great blue pinwheel block.
