Well, *somebody* went to sea...

The cow and the pussycat went to sea...

Wait, that's not right.

The monkey and the pussycat...

 No, that's not it either.

 The pigeon and the...

Oh, that won't end well.

Here we go.
The OWL and the pussycat went to sea,

in a beautiful pea-green boat.

Phew!  Why was that so hard?

You're having way too much fun! Thanks for the chuckle.

The answer to your question is: because you have too many beautiful fabrics hehehe. (NOT! We NEVER have too many fabrics lol) Hope the pigeon makes it across. ;^)

Great fun - I was just reading The Owl and The Pussycat a few days, always loved this poem.

I find it highly amusing that you had so many choices and the fabric to go with them.

Such fun blocks, so whimsical!

Well, I personally love that the pussycat was in each iteration of the block. Great, hilarious ideas!

So cute! What will happen to this little menagerie of animals next?

But what of the fox, cabbage and rabbit that need to cross the river in a two man boat?

(Stop the madness)!!!!

So fun. I love all your "crazy" ideas. I've been on holiday and quilt meeting, and I'm so behind all green blocks. Today is sunshine here, and I wonder if I'll take the time to sew later this afternoon.

Funniest post I've read in a long time!! I love all your boats, but of course the owl and the pussycat in their pea-green boat the most. Now, if only you can find a fabric runcible spoon!
