As usual, I'm playing catch-up here. (How did it get to be this far into April already?!?)
First I'll share the paltry bits I got done for the RSC's April color - blue in lights and brights.
One cake stand -
Pretty underwhelming, right? I've got several Antique Tile blocks cut out but not sewn together yet, so hopefully I'll be able to have some to show off before the end of the month.
The only real production has been in the Glitter department. I finished these eight in late March,
and did these in the first half of April.
But all work and no play, and all that...
Somehow, this happened -
It's just a test block. No harm ever came from making a test block, right?
Linking with SoScrappy for ScrapHappy Saturday (late as usual!) and with Quilting is more fun than Housework for Oh Scrap! Come see all the fun!

I was just thinking about you before I popped open Blogger. Can't wait to see all you Glitter blocks together.
I'm with Libby 100%. I thought maybe the blue fabric in Jack N Six along with the Cake Stand and don't know who else anymore, all attacked you out of jealousy because you were paying too much attention to the Glitter Blocks! (Oh! My! I have to leash my imagination sometimes. Haha!) You did a great job on the Glitter. You still have two weeks to catch up on the others. Love the blue fabric in the Cake Stand as I have a little piglet dressed the same way. Love it! Take care. ;^)
P.S. Very interesting tree. No, nothing wrong with a test block. ;^)
Your Glitter blocks are looking so fun together! And test blocks are my favorite blocks of all - so many possibilities!
Your glitter blocks are looking fabulous. Each one is a visual delight.
Also, love your tester tree block. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this one. Happy stitching :)
Test blocks are just appetizers to feed the quilter's soul.
Wonderful glitter blocks, Gayle. Soon you will have all the blocks you need.
Count them and separete groups of 10 or 8, so you won't lost any time recounting. (well I know this is part of the fun).
The tree block is a great use of small scraps. Love it.
Looks like plenty of Light and/or Bright BLUE to me, Gayle! All I've made is ONE block for Full Stop and my entry for the TABLE SCRAPS Challenge this coming weekend. It's getting binding today or tomorrow. Thank goodness for the very last minute!!
Put down the tree block, Gayle! Finish the glitter blocks first. I know that's like talking to the wall (or my husband). I'll echo Ivani and suggest that you clip 10 glitter blocks together or baggie 25 of them, so when you torment yourself by counting, you'll at least get through them quicker. Now, just keep thinking, "Glitter, glitter, everywhere".

Hahaha! I've wanted to make a Pine Tree block quilt for years. Test block, indeed - more like Temptation block!
Glitter is going to we wild when it all comes together!
LOVE that tree block! Wowza!
Such pretty blocks and love the Glitter blocks . So many lovely fabrics being used. Have a great week.
Oh, yes! I expect to see a Glittery top in no time!! Go, Gayle, Go!
And hopefully the test tree won't end up like my test trees made in 2015! Now, where did I put those?
You will have all your glitter blocks done in no time. So you have to have a test block to store in the “ soon to be empty” project box 🙂
Thanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
Such pretty blocks. I have a few tree blocks I need to get back to. Yours is so cheerful.
