As September really is gasping its last, I managed to get a few more red blocks done for RSC.
A Jacks and Sixes (or Hovering Hawk) (or Anvil) (or whatever. I think of them as 'Charlie', myself)
And a few Buckeye Beauties,
with some blue ones thrown in using some of the Gwennie medallion leftovers.
Pay no attention to that photo-bombing monkey.
You know what camera hogs they can be.
And obviously I had to do a few more piggies -
though let's take a closer look at that little guy on the right, shall we?
Yep, he seems to be farting 'meows'...
Linking with So Scrappy for ScrapHappy Saturday. Can't wait to see what October's color is!

Are you still in Maryland? Give me a shout when you return. You always are busy. When is the Gennie reveal? Liz
That poor farting pig.... what a CATastrophe!
I love Jacks and Sixes (who named that one? Seriously!). I'm a thinking of copying you on that one. Love the Buckeye Beauty also. The Monkey looks like it's dressed for fall. You are having way too much fun with the monkeys. Maybe you should give them up to a friend, lol. :^D
I also laughed at the little piglet. (I have no shame!) It is hilarious! I think the cat got its tongue and now the poor little piglet is calling back the cat with the only way it has available. LOLOLOL! Thank you so much for the laughter. You make me feel good. ;^)
Lots of fun reds, especially your little piggies!
And the other little piggies look a little red in the face! Going whole hog on those things aren't you?
Cute blocks! I love the piggy who's "farting meows"!!!!!
Love your red anvil block and the farty pigs are a riot! silly monkey, too!
curious cats
Who is the naughty monkey... the quilt block or YOU?!? LOL
Ha! Looks like you jumped the gun a bit with your jacks and six block! And now for our favorite color on the wheel...!
The piggie on the lower level looks so neatly dressed and uptight that she must be dying of embarrassment being on the same design wall with farty pants.
Those piggies have such a great sense of humor! Between them and the monkey's getting attention I don't know how you get anything done in the sewing room!
Those monkeys have way too much fun at your expense! While I am away from home on vacation, I hope mine are not tearing up the house! I really like those Jacks and Sixes blocks, too. They look like the type of block you could make a ton of and never get tired of them.
Your Charlie and Buckeye Beauty blocks are wonderful! These would be great for using up smaller pieces of fabrics. (your posts are always so much fun, BTW)
