The color for July is Watermelon Pink - so a hot pink (or should it be cold pink?) or a dark pink. Now I've never been a fan of pink, but I have made an effort to add some pinks to my stash. One of the best parts about the RSC is that it encourages me to use colors that don't come naturally to me. Pink heads this list...
So I had a piggy that I made back in April that involved pink
and also has my favorite background of any piglet so far.
My other piglet says her name is Dorothy,
but that I can call her Dotty. I wonder where she got that nickname?

Dotty is cute. I love the fabrics is the other pink piglet.
Whoever heard of a pink pig anyway? It's not like they eat shrimp all day like those dumb flamingos.
Perfect pink pigs for July! I have never used much pink either, so it's good to stretch ourselves!
I am scrambling for pink scraps this month too. But I did get a pink piglet finished but she is not as cute as Dot. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
There is definitely a family resemblance between Dotty and her cousin, who has quite a few freckles herself. They are part of a great family of piglets you are raising. Are they expensive to feed or are they on diets?
I love Dotty. (I love polka-dots.) You have very beautiful little piglets in your sewing room lol. I too shy from pink, especially the hot one. It reminds me of hot flashes I guess lol. ;^)
While PINK isn't a favorite of mine, I have a fair amount. You've scraped together a great block. Dotty is ADORABLE!!!
Pretty pink pigs (say that 3 times fast!)!
Well you most definitely had to have a pink piggy in the mix! I love dots so love Dotty!
So stinkin' cute!
Hot pink pigs... what could be better?
