I still can't figure out the difference (but that's probably the rotation), but as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.
Is the difference the increased length of the gusset? Other than that I don't see any difference. But like the other commenter, whatever pleases you tickles me plumb to death. (I have spent some time in Texas in my life -- can you tell?)
