But here I am...
(I'm pretty sure it's Sally's fault. Or maybe Molly's...)
And in other news, the stars are starting to pile up for those last Unity borders.
Almost there!
Linking with SoScrappy at ScrapHappy Saturday and with Quilting is more fun than Housework for Oh Scrap! (At least I hope I am - I have no confidence in Blogger these days)
That pink postage stamp block is so pretty, Gayle! I'm pretty sure it is Sally's fault because I saw her post with 6 different colors of those blocks, and they look like they are very hard to resist!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to know that I'm not the only one struck with Start-itis! lol. Love your postage block in pink but those stars in the first row are hard to beat. Love the play of red and blue on the wings of those first stars. Great job! ;^)
ReplyDeleteIt is now officially a postage stamp pandemic (PSP20). Please don’t blame a victim. Ground zero is Lynn Dykstra at Klein Meisje Quilts but the super spreader is Wanda at Exuberant Quilts. And I have to say that yours is very pretty in pink...and clearly there is no immunity...because I feel newly infected.
ReplyDeleteHaving finished a postage stamp quilt in the last year, my immunity is still strong. But they are so tempting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
Hey... whatever happened to that crazy mini HST quilt you were making? Did you finish it and I missed it?
ReplyDeleteI, too, admired Sally's AP blocks with the solids. I think they make for great fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm making postage stamps also and really enjoying the process. Your pink solid is a pretty shade.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I caught that virus too. I think you will see my symptoms on Saturday. I also think I have some of the same postage stamps in my collection.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a new RSC block appears mid-year. I think the blocks are in the same virus time-warp as the rest of us? I spontaneously started making scrappy string chevrons last week. No idea where THAT came from :)
ReplyDeletePretty pink! I made a couple of postage stamp blocks and decided I would rather work with my dumpster diving scraps. KUDOS to all of you who are PSP20-ing.
ReplyDeleteYou just HAD to make that PINK Postage Stamp block!! Those small scraps are SEW happy to be surrounded by the RSC Color of the Month. It's like you are performing sewing room community service! :o))
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of small squares that I've been wondering what to do with. Postage stamp quilts are always a treat and your pinks sparkle.
