I'm so in love with this old yellow bee print that I seem to have used it in every block I made this week.
Like this Chantal's Pinwheel, for instance.
And this racing hen is just chock full of bees.
(That might explain why she's in such a hurry.)
(That's Sally T's pattern, btw. Go here for the tutorial. You know you want to make some racing cluckers, too.)
And Burgoyne #10 is done, also full of bees.
And cats, too, if you look closely. It's just been a critters kind of week!
Linking with SoScrappy for ScrapHappy Saturday. Come see all the yellow fun!
Love that bee fabric, and all three of these blocks! That chicken is pretty funny, and Burgoyne looks beautiful in yellow. Great post!
ReplyDeleteSometimes there is just a fabric we love and we have to do it in everything. What, no new blocks you aren't making this week?
ReplyDeleteOh, that bee fabric is lots of fun! I do that with my favorite ones, too. That way, I'll see it in every quilt I use all around the year!
ReplyDeleteGotta love a good bee fabric. All your blocks are so dang cute!
ReplyDeleteI would be running too if I had bees on me. Amazing blocks.
ReplyDeleteBusy bee putting that distinctive fabric to good use. Those chicks are so cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your Bumble Chicken!! LOL I'm making blocks with that same buzzy print.
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric too! No wonder you are enjoying using it so much!
ReplyDeleteMy name means busy as a bee or something or other like that ( I think it is probably more like flitting here and there like a bee ha ha! :)
I won't worry until you actually start making bee blocks. That might bee a little overdone.
ReplyDeleteBee-u-tiful!
ReplyDeleteLove what those bees have done to your blocks! Great new Burgoyne!
ReplyDeleteThat bee fabric is so adorable. It looks great in all of the blocks. Love what you've been working on.
ReplyDeleteI love the racing hen. Who knew that cluckers raced?
ReplyDeleteThat latest BS is just the cat's meow! You probably have more blocks than I do by now!
ReplyDeleteLove the blocks and their matching colour schemes!
ReplyDeleteLove the bee fabric. I was using up some of mine this week too.... and it is sadly almost gone!
