Because I made these,
after being tempted by Cathy's spools and Kathy's spools.
I'm not made of stone...
Linking with Quilting is More Fun than Housework for Oh Scrap! Because I think a lot of my scraps are going to end up as spools before it's over.
I am being tempted by their spool quilts too! Love your little blocks. I might have to start my own little collection. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteNice spools. So, which one is Cathy and which one is Kathy; the one on the right or the one on the left? (LMHO) Don't get all unwind about a few spools. I'm sure you can spin a spool or two, between a piglet and a monkey. Or you may send it on a ship and see where it threads. As long as you don't get all tied up in a knot, you'll be fine! Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteNice use of scraps! I have included some of the left background in what I'm working on today -- NOT Bonnie's mystery, even tho it's neutral 4-patches ... well, maybe, but I'm waiting to see where it goes ...
ReplyDeleteCool spools! Let's hear it for new starts!
ReplyDeleteOh, I know it, those are VERY tempting!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your spools - they make great leader-enders! The small size is part of the attraction, but you'll need HUNDREDS for a quilt (just ask me about MY spools)!
ReplyDeleteVery fun spools. Kathy makes such great scrappy projects, it's hard not to follow her lead.
ReplyDeleteAre you going with the 3 inch spools or the 2.25 ones?
ReplyDeleteAnd so it begins! Peer pressure can be a powerful force. If you just call them leaders and enders then it doesn't count as starting a new quilt.
