Leading with a few kaleidoscopes -
in a range of contrast, from low to high. I've got more fabrics that I want to kaleid before the month is out, because you can never have too much yellow/orange!
And this is Ziggy.
I'm a little concerned about the tire-tread look he's sporting here. Or is it bacon?
I even found some of the correct colors at the local botanical garden -
and I made some pumpkin muffins, because there's no more glorious orange than a pumpkin!

Finally, a kaleidoscope fix! Thanks. Having bacon for dinner with leftover egg dish I made for church women's breakfast today. Sorry ...
ReplyDeleteOh you were ahead of the game with the colours! Poor piggy - not a good look for him with the zig zags!
ReplyDeleteLoving your yellow kaleidoscopes!
ReplyDeleteLots of energy in those oranges and yellows, great kaleidoscopes.
ReplyDeleteI like Ziggy, he looks sporty.
The kaleidoscopes and Ziggy look great in yellow and orange! I'm afraid Ziggy is just bacon in disguise! Thanks for the pumpkin muffin recipe, too. I was just commenting on someone else's post today that I am really in the mood for pumpkin goodies, so I will have to try those.
ReplyDeletebacon! Snort! cute blocks but the muffins look good enough to eat. Are they gone yet?
ReplyDeleteZiggy is adorable. I don't think he should become bacon even though bacon would be delicious with the pumpkin muffins.
ReplyDeleteLove the kaleidoscopes - very happy! And Ziggy has a great thing going, all the other cool piglets will be sporting chevrons soon!
ReplyDeleteWhoa--those muffins do sound decadent--yum!! Your kaleidoscope blocks are awesome!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about ziggy.... he just got his tail stuck in an electrical outlet. He'll be fine!
ReplyDeleteThanks, for the link to the recipe. My boys LOVE pumpkin baked goods... and they are BOTH home this weekend!!
ReplyDeleteZiggy turned out very cute! Lots of fun colors in your Kaleidoscope blocks. Looks like you are staying busy.
ReplyDeleteYou coined a clever new word, kaleid. Is that what butterflies do when they fly together? Poor Ziggy. Unfortunately he looks like he ran out in the road, got run over by a big truck and looks like bacon. But he is definitely a survivor and has quite an adventure story to tell. Maybe it's just a tall tail.
ReplyDeleteI love all your blocks! Your doing well considering your on a trip.
