I finished the corners and borders for the 365 Challenge central medallion and got them all sewn together. Woohoo!
Then it was back to making dark little 3" blocks to surround that medallion with. There will be 96 of them all together, then we move on to the 6" blocks for a while. Woohoo!
I finally found the ruler of my dreams, which is making the squaring of these little blocks a whooooole lot simpler!
I'm almost caught up with the first 2 weeks of April now. Then there's the second two weeks of April. And however much of May has gone by, by the time I finish April.
Yeah, this'll work. I can totally do this.
And there's a new Quilt Along starting up that's very intriguing. Not that I'm going to join it, of course. Absolutely not. Just because I already had a basket block traced out that I was planning to do eventually anyway is no excuse to start a new project. No way am I going to tackle this. Nope. Totally not happening. Nope.
Of course, there's no harm in pulling some fabric.
Purely as a hypothetical, of course.
Ooh, you are a bad (or good?) influence! I must not be lured to a new project! Your 365 is looking awesome!
ReplyDeleteHypothetical? Huh! I know you ...
ReplyDeleteLove, LOVE! your medallion. Great job! You're catching up pretty good. Keep going! ;^) Traced pattern is not starting a new quilt; it's only a test to see if you like the arrangement. And those fabrics just happened to be there. I so get you, sister, I so get you! Hahahahaha! ;^)
ReplyDeleteOf course you're not going to start on another medallion -Yeh right!! However I am and busy with central design this week.
ReplyDeleteI love the medallion already in the works and if you're already making one it's just as easy to work on two!!
