The new Knitty just went live, and guess which pattern caught my eye?
Yep, Willow.
No surprise there, eh?
I see a lot of barking and burping in my future! (Those are brioche technical terms. And you wonder why I like brioche knitting so much...)
LOL! I got the book for DIL for Christmas. I hope a) she doesn't already have it, and b) that she'll make something for me from it.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a gorgeous cowl. I love it too. (and I have figured out where the bark and burp come from. funny terms.);^)
ReplyDeleteI read brioche and think :baking.
ReplyDeleteI have been kicking myself every since last April when I took the beginning brioche course in the morning at Yarnover BUT NOT THE SEQUEL in the afternoon. I can brioche with one or two colors but I haven't learned to increase or decrease yet. (Yeah, I could probably learn somewhere on YouTube but no.) Happily, the same teacher who taught the beginning brioche last spring is coming again and WILL TEACH THE SEQUEL AGAIN! I am chuffed, I tell you, chuffed.
