Brioche brioche brioche

Go ahead!  Say it three times - it's fun!

I got a book today for a late birthday gift.

The brioche class I took on Craftsy last month was taught by Nancy Marchant.  I've been drooling over this book ever since.
Knitpicks has a sale on yarn.
It was fate, I tell ya.  Fate.
And the order has been shipped...

  1. Brioche, brioche, brioche is not a tongue twister for a Frenchie lol. Is that shawl/cowl really knitted? It is gorgeous and right in my colours. You know my birthday is coming? lol.
Happy belated birthday Gayle. Enjoy!! ;^)

  3. I took a beginning brioche class last spring at Yarnover. Now I wish I had taken the afternoon class that day, tooo -- advanced brioche. Can't wait to see what you make!

  5. That wrap on the cover looks sooo cozy. As soon as I get the Christmas knitting done, I'm so making myself a poncho or something!

  7. Yes- I have this book, too. I've been dreaming of doing the long cowl and one of the shawls. I've not knit brioche before. It's awesome you took a brioche class taught by Nancy Marchant! I can't wait to see what you make. I think I'll start with a simple hat or basic cowl, before diving into these more intricate patterns.
