The Black Hole of Knitting

That's where I am with this red scarf.

It's a Palindrome. It's endless. I knit and knit and knit and knit, and it doesn't grow.
The deadline is looming.

Back to the knitting...

  1. Hate deadlines. This is the first year that I have not knitted one thing for Christmas presents. I couldn't deal with the stress this season.

The Palidrome is a great pattern and yours looks wonderful.

  2. OMG, I feel your pain: I knit a red Palindrome this year for Red Scarf. I thought it would never end. Note to self: cabley-scarves take forever. I did finish it but only through sheer will power. Never again.

Take heart, it does end eventually and it will be sooo pretty when done.

  3. I'm so singing "nanner nanner!" over here: I reached escape velocity and escaped the black hole (my Red Scarf is blocking and ready for pix.)

p.s. I typed "red sweater". What was that about, Mr Freud?

and my word verification today is "able".

  4. I think it's that pattern. Every single time I've knit it that has happened. If I was smarter, I'd find a different pattern. ;^)

  5. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Actually, I feel like that happens with every scarf. They are all about half again as long as my attention span. Yours is lookin' mighty fine, though.

  6. I think it is true of all scarves. I would only knit Palindrome for me or a loved one. Love it in red. You are a good person.
