Quick Question!

Does this look like a sunflower to anyone besides me?

Or is it back to the drawing board?

I agree - a large flower but alone and without context, I would not have guessed SUN-flower.

Hmmm...I'm thinking that you might need to increase the center circle relative to the pedals. Plus the petals for sunflowers are fully circular around the center. Otherwise, you might have to cheat and use traditional coloring (brownish center, golden yellow petals) to convey sunflowerishness.

The shape says sunflower but not the colouring. But I do like things to be really obvious hence I would use yellow petals and dark centre! If you like different coloured versions I think the shape is fine, just go ahead and call it a sunflower!

You see a sunflower in this beautiful little block? Either I don't have the same definition of sunflower as you, or you tell me what kind of wine you're having because I want some too, lol. Oh! I get it. A monkey did that one, didn't he? It is a very beautiful flower. Love the fabric against the B/W background. I guess it's back to the drawing board. Sorry! ;^)

Maybe a psychedelic one. I like it but it doesn't say sunflower to me even after I drank a margarita.

I saw a sunflower because you mentioned it, but then again, I am drinking wine while perusing blogs! I can see the shape of a sunflower, if not the colors. Pretty!

Flower, yes; sunflower, eh. I like what Cathy said.

A flower, but not sunflower - I agree with the rest.

I'm thinking; try again with different fabric. I'm not sure if it's the strips or the colors or what. Being a native Kansan and our state flower is the sunflower, so I'm real partial to yellows, browns and greens. But, I do know sunflowers come in different colors.

Maybe, it's the petals are not long and slender enough.

I just took a quick look at images on a Google search and the ones that said sunflower to me had some yellow in them and lots of petals.

Interesting idea though.

Definitely a flower in the daisy family, but sunflower? Nope, wrong color.

If it was yellow... it might!

I thought it was an abstract sun flower. I can send you a pic or two of my volunteer sunflower if you need a sample.
