Oh, no!

I hear thunder out there.

We've had major frog-stranglers for the last 3 days running. (For those of you who didn't grow up in Kansas - a frog-strangler is a huge rain storm. Buckets of rain. Huge quantities of water falling out of the sky.)

Our sheep have an appointment with their hairdresser the shearer this week.
Sheep can only be sheared if their wool is dry.
Our sheep don't have sense enough to come in out of the rain.

I am NOT going out there with a blow-dryer and a really long extension cord...

Too funny but not funny at all. I've forgotten what it is like to sleep through the night and not be awakened by thunder and lightning.

Would the sheep even put up with a blow dryer???

I love thunder storms - and miss them. (We aren't "in season" just yet.)

Isn't all the wet wool heavy to cart around??

Would you consider standing out there with a couple umbrellas? ::rim shot::

I wish you could send your rain to us--we need it.

I hope things have dried out enough for the shearers!

But if you do, please post a photo of it!
